Sweet Dreams Events, Decor and More is the one-stop-shop for all your event needs. RayTara Black, affectionately known as “Ray”, was known for having a love of all things sweet. You name it, cakes, cookies and candy. Her curiosity for sweets led her into baking. Always trying to have something new and more unique than the first. Mixing flavors has helped with some of her signature cakes.

Where does event planning and décor come in? Ray found that in her corporate career, as well as with helping family and friends, she would either spearhead entire events or help in some way. Oftentimes during cake consultations, brides would need help and advice or when delivering cakes, help was needed with set-up. That’s when Sweet Dreams Events, Décor and More was created. It was created to be a one-stop-event-shop. In doing this, Sweet Dreams Events, Decor and More made it easier for customers to get the help they needed in a seamless structure.
Ray has a Bachelor in Business Management. She also completed her certification in Event Planning and Event Design at Correlations LLC. Is an Accredited Event Designer from IWED and has certificates in Project Management as well as a Food Service and Sanitation License. But, one thing that Ray can tell you, is that of all those classes and degrees she has earned, learning customer service skills and listening to what is wanted is a self-trait not taught. And, so that’s who we are.
