Due to workloads, we encourage early ordering. 4 to 6 weeks advance notice is recommended. Sweet Dreams Events Decor and More will only take last minute orders when our schedule permits.

No. Sweet Dreams Events, Decor and More only offer sheet cakes for a custom cake order. Why? We pride ourselves on creating one-of-a-kind work of art, so no, we do not offer “basic” cakes because that’s not our style.
Unfortunately, we do not ship custom cakes. We do ship our famous pound cake, cake in a jar, push-up cake, cookies and other small treats.
No. We offer a lot of services but perhaps you only want one thing, either way Sweet Dreams Events, Decor and More will be willing to accommodate with whatever service is needed.
Yes. A consultation is required to determine your expectations from us for your event planning/styling or cake. However, at times, some cake orders are taken over the phone.
We will discuss your design, planning and coordination needs, as well as help with your budget.
Yes. Tastings are $35 per couple. Consequently, the tastings were designed for couples. If additional individuals are to join the cost will be charged accordingly. The tastings last about an hour. It consist of cake, filling and icing samples where couples are shown how to pair flavors. Cake design and concept are also discussed.

Yes. Our delivery fee is based on location. However, some cakes Sweet Dreams Events Decor and More would like to deliver rather than customers due to how delicate they are.

Yes. We require a non-refundable 50% retainer to book your order. The remaining balance must be paid in full one week prior to your event. Not paying will put you at risk of not being accommodated.
We book up often. There would be no way for us to go back and get all of the orders we declined to back-fill your spot if you decided to cancel. Your retainer secures our availability for you and we manage our production schedule based on your order one booked.
Due to the overwhelming amount of donation request on we receive on a daily basis, we ask that all request be submitted via email to information@sweetdreamseventschicago.com. Please include a letter explaining what charity you represent, what services are needed, add you tax ID number. Please understand the we are unable to fulfill all request, but we do the best that we can.
All requests for cancellation must be made in writing or via email. information@sweetdreamseventschicago.com
If a cancellation is received, your deposit will not be refundable.
